UWSC 60th ANNIVERSARY

Monday, February 29, 2016 marks United Way of Salem County’s 60th anniversary!!! On this day, in 1956, a few good people came together to establish the United Fund of Salem County. As time went on, the organization changed it's name to United Way of Salem County to align with the global organization to which we belong - United Way Worldwide. One of the founding Board members was Mr. John B. Campbell of Mannington Mills. In July of 2014, United Way of Salem County came full circle as it merged the John B. Campbell Community Center under it's umbrella to further extend our support to the commmunity. This merger signified a nearly 60 year community partnership between Mannington Mills and United Way of Salem County.

UWSC is a member of a network of nearly 1,800 local agencies in over 40 countries and territories throughout the world. We are proud to be a part of this phenomenal organization and even more proud to serve Salem County.

During this special anniversary year, help United Way of Salem County to advance our work by giving $60 per month for one year.
